There’s one plan and one invoice. The first 60 days are free and need no card. After that you pay by how many shops are active that month, and nothing else changes.

How the free 60 days work
It starts
The day you register your first shop. No card and no sales call. The shop goes live as soon as we’ve confirmed it’s a real auto repair shop at that address.
Before it ends
We email you while there’s still time to decide. You can add a card at any point during the 60 days; the first charge still waits for the end date.
When it ends
With a card on file, your first invoice runs. Without one, your shops come off Today Mechanic search and you’re charged nothing. Add a card later and they relist.
Questions
Do I really not need a card?
Right. The 60 days run without one. We offer to set up payment when you register your first shop, and skipping it costs you nothing.
I run more than one shop. How does that get billed?
One subscription for you, not one per shop. Your first shop is $199 a month and every shop after it is $149. The bill follows how many shops are active right now, so three shops is $199 + $149 + $149 = $497 a month, on a single invoice.
What if I add or close a shop mid-month?
A shop you add goes live straight away, and its $149 starts on your next invoice rather than as a mid-cycle charge. Close one and the amount drops the same way, from the next invoice. Nothing is prorated in either direction.
Does a second shop get its own free trial?
No. The 60 days belong to you, not to a location. A shop you add halfway through has whatever’s left of your window, not a fresh 60 days.
Is there a contract?
No. It’s month to month. Cancel from the billing portal and your shops stay live through the end of the cycle you’ve already paid for.
Is sales tax included?
No. Sales tax is added at checkout where your state requires it, so your invoice total can sit a little above the figures on this page.
What happens if a payment fails?
Your shops stay listed for 3 days past the cycle end while the card is retried. Sort the card out inside that window and nothing goes dark.
Can I talk to someone first?
